We were a party of 8 staying at Silverstone Falls on a friends recommendation. It is a wonderful place, in a very calm peaceful setting, with the waterfall and the mountains around. Still conveniently close to Mbabane city center. Service is excellent and personal, and the rooms are large, clean and very well equipped with large bathrooms. All rooms have a balcony with fireplace overlooking the waterfall. Julie and Hogan were great hosts and it felt like staying at their home, rather than at a hotel. I can highly recommend Silverstone Falls. There is no swimmingpool, but who needs it? Just walk a few minutes up the creek and have a bath in the waterfall! We all loved it.

We recently stayed at Silverstone Falls almost by accident - our friend recommended it for our family and another family of four (8 in our party, 4 adults and 4 kids). We had the time of our lives and didn't want to leave! The hosts Julie and Hogan were fantastic, and went our of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well-appointed and the common spaces are perfect for kicking back, having a drink, or playing a board game.

But the real kicker is the setting! Every room looks out onto a beautiful, tranquil waterfall and mountain scene. There's great hiking right outside your door, and the rest of the world feels like its miles away.

We will definitely go back!

Room Tip: Some rooms don't have showers, so if that is important, make sure to inquire.

I stayed here on a month-long visit to Swaziland, and was very impressed by the graciousness and warmth of the owners, which is reflected in every detail of the guesthouse. The common area is beautifully decorated, with enormous windows looking over the hills and the waterfalls. My room was also also nicely furnished and very spacious; the openness of the room contributed to the restful ambiance. A spa-like bath and a balcony looking towards the waterfalls added to the feeling of being on a restful retreat. The meals were excellent, and well-presented; any special requests (such as avoiding fried foods) were always attended to. The one thing I found frustrating was the intermittence of internet access; however, this is a common issue in Swaziland given the general infrastructure, and not a failing of the hosts.

The rooms were beautiful and modern, the food was excellent, the view was amazing and the customer support was very personal. The owners would spend time with us to answer any questions. I learned a lot about the Swazi culture just sitting and talking with them. It was a very pleasant experience.

This place is a hidden treasure!!! Let me state the reasons why:

1. Hogan and Julie (the owners) are two of the nicest persons I've met in all my business trips. They are so friendly and made me feel so comfortable during my stay that it's like a home away from home.

2. From the moment you walk-in the compound, you will see the picturesque view of the mountains and waterfalls to the right and the nicely architectured hotel building on the left. The lobby is clean, beautifully furnished and so homey. The room I stayed is also equally spacious (actually too big for a single person), modern and clean. The room also comes with a luxurious bathroom and a balcony that looks to the waterfalls. I came here for work but I everytime I go back to the hotel, I feel like I am having a grand vacation.

3. Dinner is something I always look forward to after work because the food is excellent and so well presented - thanks to their 19 year old chef!

Rooms for improvement with the hotel would be - a reliable internet access and some basic fitness equipment (especially with dinner that good!)

This is a beautiful, cozy bed and breakfast. The rooms are very clean, modern and spacious, and the views of the mountains are breath-taking. The proprietor is incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food is excellent! The only limitation was internet access, which was spotty the week we were there, but it forced us to relax more which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room with a shower if that is important to you, as some of them only have batht...
