Our 'room' was really three large rooms, bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. All were beautifully appointed and the views from the rooms and balcony were stunning. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the breakfasts well presented and great quality. You really need a car if staying here but it is only 5 mins from town and several very good restaurants are even closer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this guest house to others.

Room Tip: You may pay a bit more for a room with a view - but what a view!

I had a really big room with nice views. Breakfast was accommodating. Everyone was very helpful. Only real downside is that the location is a little out of the way but if u can get by this than you will not be disappointed.

Beware of their room descriptions. Not all rooms have views. Ours had none. In fact it was totally blocked by large conifers. Bathroom had views albeit through ugly burglar bars. Also razor wire under all balconies indicates security issues.

Complete absence of management or owners. Place was run by two cleaners/cooks. Would have raised the issues described above but there was no one to raise it with?!

No evening meals are offered, despite what they say in Portfolio Collection. The reception/breakfast area which has amazing views is locked up at night so guests are restricted to their rooms.

The rooms are well appointed, but some sort of room directory with ideas on what to do etc would be nice, especially as there is no management to talk to. Breakfasts were very nice.

All in all, didn't feel particularly welcome. Stayed for a few days and no owner introduced themselves to us, welcomed us or even said good bye. On the last day we simply packed our bags and drove off. Very strange.

This guesthouse is outside Mbabane, about 10 minutes away, but that is probably a plus, as it sits a bit up hillside on a beautiful valley, and it actually looks (and feels) like a private country house in which some rooms are rented. The views were great, staff were very friendly, the room was very spacious and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the food by the house cook was delicious. I do not think that one can ask for much more!

PS We stayed at this property in January 2013.

Enjoyed it so much. Rooms are great, beds are awesome, shower is fantastic, view is beautiful, staff is friendly, owners are pleasant. The breakfast also deserves a special mention.
Will always stay here when visiting Mbabane or Swaziland in future.
Thanks.
