This was the third or fourth visit. With the "Privilege Portfolio" it is certainly value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good.
There had been some heavy rain the day before and water had gotten in and soaked the carpet. It had been dried, but the smell of wet carpet . . . It greeted you from way down the passage. Because the hotel was full, they could not change the room. Housekeeping came with Air Freshner -- the combination of wet carpet and air Freshner. . . not good.
I would have thought they would have gone to a little more trouble to try and make amends by transferring us to one of the other hotels in the group.
