Owner description: Swaziland has a rich history, and provides a myriad of activities to suit each individual preference. But there is so much more to explore! Shops such as Traditional Swazi Craft Markets will definitely appeal to all. There are two traditional Swazi craft markets close by - one at the Royal Swazi Sun's entrance, and another along the main road, next to the Ezulwini Sun.

Food was surprisingly good and reasonable. Markets typical but nice variety and cheap prices as well.

I bought a huge amount of items at a fraction of prices charged in SA. I got brooms, cookery items, accessories and some really unique stuff. This is my hunting ground for authentic art and craft form this beautiful nation.

Many crafts and jewellery available for sale as well as the traditional Swati regalia...i would recommend for anyone wanting a piece of Swaziland to take back home. you'll definitely need good bargaining skills for this one though. I purchased some Swaziland keyholders, necklaces and beautiful bracelets plus a 'mahiya' - cloth with the King's face printed on it

If you have been before - watch out - the market has moved from the main road to a side road. Still over a hundred stalls selling largely similar wears but some real gems to be found in amongst - look out for great quality woven baskets and also fabulous carved stone hippo pools by Moses at the top of the market.
