Seafood ok, fish medium, oyster 6, medium priced (because it is an open area restaurant). You eat on a medium dirty towel, need to call the waiter several time even to get the most elementary things like tissues. Just one try!

“Kind of fun”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013

Bustling when we were there, packed with locals, pretty festive, actually. So it was fun. Only downside was long wait for food, but when it came we had huge, fresh grilled Tchioff -- premier fish from that area, according to many locals. It was flak land light. Tasty. Decent value.
Not a bad place to sample local seafood.

“Beware the addition!!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

This mostly open air restaurant is uniquely located on the furthest tip of West Africa in the Almadies suburb of Dakar. People go there for the seafood. While the food is passable, the management and service is deplorable. Anyone who eats there needs to be sure to check their bill at the end of the meal for any "extras" that the management sneaks onto it. I've known several people who've eaten there and each time there always manages to be extra drinks or food that they did not order on it. This also happened to me. Note: This is a common practice at unscrupulous high trafficked restaurants in Dakar where "foreigners" go because it is believed that they do not carefully check their bill or care. I really hate this dishonesty and this restaurant is notorious for it.
