I can't recommend this place highly enough. The art is fabulous, but more so, the vision of Emmanuel and his brother for what art can do (and is already doing) in Rwanda is awesome. Definitely worth a visit for an inspiring and vibrant juant.

Found the place while reading trip advisor reviews. It was a great discovery. This place is very welcoming and full of creativity from the paintings (you can buy from 100$ to 1500$, feel free to make an offer if too expensive) to the local craft (African print ties, bags, wine covers...). They also have a great exposition of paintings made by orphans from Kigali who have learned to paint at the center. Will definitely be back there.

This place has great art, involves kids and you'll feel very welcome when you stop by. If you have a question, ask Innocent, he'll go out of his way to help you out!

The Inema Arts Center is a colorful place…a realized dream of two amazing young artists, Innocent and Emmanuel. These brothers are both talented and exceptional in so many ways!
The sculptures, murals, and visual arts are incredible slices of Rwandan life. Step in and you will be changed forever…the commitment to the arts and the youth of Kigali is amazing and we feel so blessed to know Innocent and Emmanuel. We now have two of their paintings in our home in California!
There will be more in the future!

Thank Julie V
