What a stunning hotel. Lemigo is situated on the side of a hill about 13km from the airport. With pleasant and smartly dressed staff, the foyer sets the tone for your stay. Comfortable yet chic, this hotel is a foody tourists dream. The beds are extremely comfortable and endless. I could have rolled 10 times to get to the other side. The amenities in the room include a luxurious gown, a TV with hbo( movie heaven), safe, shower to fit 5 people, and everything you would need if you lost your suitcase ( hygiene wise). We had taken a bit of tumble at the airport and the hotel medics came to attend to us.

The food. From the range of juices, croissants and other pastries. Wow. For dinner they had sauteed steak and chicken perfectly seasoned and cooked to melt in your mouth perfection served with naan bread, various seasoned rice and salads. Dessert was also available.

The casino as heaven for my mum and aunt who were pleasantly surprised with the free flowing drinks for the casino patrons.

The views from the hotel at night are stunning due to the location of the hotel. Just the most perfect way to end the holiday.

We stayed there two different nights. The first night after arriving in Rwanda, we had a very nice room with a balcony, hot shower and breakfast the next morning was very very good. We stayed there again the night before we left Rwanda and this time the room was small, no balcony, had problems with the AC, some of the lights didn’t work and the hairdryer was some kind of antiquated wall unit that also had issues. I did contact maintenance and they did come quickly to fix all the issues identified. I felt like part of the hotel had been renovated and part had not. The second time there was a band playing and it was impossible to have a conversation at dinner. However that being said we did manage to get a good night’s sleep and the hotel is convenient to the airport.

I have stayed here for probably 30 nights over the past two years and have found it to be a serviceable hotel. The rooms are large and clean. Staff is nice. The elevator set-up is a bit strange as you cannot access a hotel from the same level as check in.

If you order room service, you might want to make sure you already have a snack because it can take a long time. I found the brochettes to be quite good.

The pathway to the breakfast buffet can be a bit daunting and you may think you are in a closed down restaurant. They definitely do not have too many lights on and it can be a bit dark. The breakfast buffet selection is ok but not spectacular.

It is a safe and secure hotel, fairly clean and has kind staff.

The free hotel shuttle is welcome and quite good.

My room was mouldy and smelly. Mosquitos were in plenty. After hours the staff members come to the bar and howl all night making it difficult for those who stay near the bar. Terrible experience for me.

This is a large hotel with several restaurant areas. The rooms are spacious and attractive. There is a gym and pool. I had a half hour back massage for $11.00. Very nice. We had buffet meals for our conference The food was plentiful and pretty good.
