Unfortunately, I had to go back to this massively overrated joint in the context of a business obligation.
After having to listen for 10 minutes to a formal speech by the head waiter about the greatness of the American owners who of course are not in business to make money but to support Rwanda (I guess that’s why they open one place after the other along the same street), we got the food. As pretentious as it was dull, not worth a fraction of neither the place’s apparent reputation nor the prices they charge.
I left gladly as soon as I could and hope I won’t have to return. As poor as I knew it to be.
