Good exhibits explaining Namibia's cultural groups, nice displays, though some are still being developed. Free admission! Definitely worth an hour of your day in Windhoek.

A small museum but with some interesting histories of the tribes in Namibia. There are reconstructions of the living conditions and tribal history. Exhibits of animals and birds are showcased. It's also free to enter.

A tidy little museum with some great stuffed animals, and a little bit of culture as well. good for a family visit

We went to all the museums in the city centre and Owela was one of them. It tells the story of Namibian history. From colonisation to their independence. There are pictures of those who died fighting the oppressor and their first elections. It's very information and painful. We learnt a lot about Namibian history.

I wouldn't say Owela Museum doesn't have an interesting display, but exhibits are old and "worn out". I wouldn't say my visit was not an informative and educational, just the presentation lacks fresh touch and dusting-off. Otherwise, although I rated Owela Museum "poor" due to expired exhibits, it is, for lack of anything else, a source of historical input about Namibia.
