“The only place to stay”
Reviewed December 1, 2013 via mobile

Villa Violet is warm and beautiful place to stay. Our hosts Heidi and Egret were amazing. We were stuck there because our rental car didn't arrive, and our hosts happily accommodated our needs. They truly go above and beyond at Villa Violet.

Very pleasant clean accommodation in a pleasant garden, ideal for overnight or short stays.
Overnight security personnel on site which was reassuring.
Owner booked Joes restaurant ( very quirky good food if not a little hectic) close by.
Aircon rather noisy but that could be just us not being used to them.
We stayed one night at the start of our trip and one on the return. Neighbours dog on the last night was obviously lonely & barked far into the evening.
Overall we were content with the overall experience.

Room Tip: We were in suite 6 which was away from the courtesy bar & lounge so was quiet. Aircon was quite...

We stayed at Villa Violet for 3 separate nights and were complelety satisfied with the hospitality. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and nicely furnished. Heidi went out of her way to try and purchase a local CD that my husband wanted.
We will return next time we are in Namibia.

Villa Violet was our overnight stop on the first and last nights of our Namibian journey. Located in a pleasant Windhoek neighborhood makes it a little difficult to get to restuarants without a vehicle. The rooms are clean and modern, all located around a pleasant garden. The staff was very friendly and a lovely breakfast is provided. This is a relaxing spot to begin or end your journey to Africa.

Villa Violet is a delightful B&B with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Modern and private facilities are backed up by very friendly and helpful staff, making this an ideal start to our holiday. As this was booked by Imagine Africa we were very happy with the choice and would happily recommend Villa Violet.

We stayed 2 nights after an overland trip and loved it. Heidi and Ben went out of their way to accommodate our every need. Fresh homemade breads and preserves will have you stay longer! We will most definitely stay here again if we come to Namibia.
