We ended our 10 day trip to Namibia with a night at this fabulous establishment. Beautifully and tastefully decorated large suites in fitting with various geographical areas of Namibia, with every comfort imaginable. Magnificent bathroom with complimentary sherry and port in crystal decanters. Laptop and free wi-fi, fully stocked bar fridge and large wine selection in the comfort of your room, if you so desire.

The decor in the main area of the hotel is fascinating. I was quite taken with a lump of solid granite which was a table.

Dinner was a treat, only way to large a serving for the main course, which we couldn't finish.

Carol, the manageress, went out of her way to be of assisstance, providing packaging for me for a carving I had bought off the side of the road, in order that I could transport it safely on the plane.

The service overall was outstanding. One waitress who appeared at breakfast, blotted the copybook, in an otherwise perfect stay. She was rather ditherey and took 45 minutes to bring tea to the table, despite being asked 3 times. When she did eventually bring it, she left the milk behind.

Very highly recommended and I think most places in Namibia will struggle to meet their standards. Certainly our first choice for future stopovers.

I am currently enjoying the superb comfort and peace of the Namib suite at the Olive Exclusive. After a 2 week holiday around the wonderful country of Namibia with other family members, it is so delightful to be staying at a place that in so many ways reflects the journey we have been on. My Namib suite has stunning photos of the deserts we have visited and in so many other ways recaptures that area. Other family suites recall the coastal areas, and other parts of Namibia. This place is friendly, the food is excellent, the staff helpful and the rooms stunning. A perfect place to stay. Don't miss this place if you come to Namibia!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Olive Exclusive. We were staying in the Benguela suite. The room was very spacious and well furnished with a fantastic bathroom and a lot of amenities. Free drinks including porto were available and the staff treated us with a bottle of champagne and some nibbles. The breakfast was also outstanding with very good dishes. All in all we would definitely recommend this place, it feels special and intimate and the service deserves a five star rating.

What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at The Olive Exclusive. From the outset this little hotel manages to impress its guests with a warm hospitable welcome, so often lacking in exclusive establishments. The suites are exsquisitely decorated with beautiful modern sculptures and art representative of the modern Namibia. It is seldom that I stay in a establishment where I actually want to spend time in my room; this is certainly one of those places. Bathrooms are very spacious and every need is catered for. I loved the private little splash pool and viewing deck.

Breakfasts are reminiscent of "high tea" with platters of delectable bites and a full English breakfast made to order.

This will most certainly not be my last stay at The Olive Exclusive.

I stayed only one night in the Otavi suite at the Olive Exclusive, and although my expectations were high from the reviews and photos online, it managed to exceed them. The suite was absolutely wonderful - one day is not enough time to really enjoy all the amenities on offer. The enormous, freestanding bath (particularly after 2 weeks of driving around some fairly rough roads) was much appreciated. The fast and free wi-fi (including a laptop if you don't have your own with you), and the enormous, comfortable bed made this a very welcome retreat before a long flight home.

The staff were wonderful, the food was just superb (Namibian Beef fillet cooked to perfection, then a cointreau chocolate pot for pudding - wonderful!). Breakfast is an individual buffet, brought to your table on a multi-tier stand with fruits, pastries, yoghurts, cereals, and a fabulous mini freshly baked loaf of bread. Then select a hot breakfast from the menu options as well. A spectacularly indulgent way to start the day.

Highest possible recommendation - the room design is so beautiful, the attention to detail from the staff is fantastic, and the food is superb. A magnificent place, made even more wonderful by it's staff.
