I stayed at the Arebbusch Travel Lodge for two evening and had four meals at this restaurant (breakfast, lunch and supper). This restaurant is one of the better ones in Windhoek (as most are quite poor) with the exclusion of some of the fine dining restaurants.
Breakfasts are good by any standard. Very good selection that will suite most tastes. The coffee is pretty good too.
Most meals are prepared quite competently. I had a burger (cheese was glassy and rubbery and the fries a little oily and inconsistent with some undercooked ones. The rest was very good). I had a steak, which was very good and the fries were much better albeit still a little on the oily side. There was cabbage and potato something served with it, which was horrible though. Then I had an eisbein which was massive and very well prepared. The service was adequate, although it was very quiet and I made sure I ordered cleverly not to make use of waiters often (based on other TripAdvisor reviews). I did notice that the waiters very rarely did rounds.
