We locals either hate it or love it. But we all agree:. the food is good, the service friendly and not too slow, if one takes into consideration that they seat up to 300 persons at one time - and rather book a table. Do not think it feels crowded. That is the beauty of the place ; it has nooks and crannies and lapas and even a little room with a porch to seat everyone. The decor is great, unique and the time it took to put it together over years, appreciated by all. To really see the place, try to go for lunch, but for a real "lekker kuier" - ask your guide as this is not really translatable - the evenings are great. Why we love it, is that tourists as well as us locals feel at home here. It is a good mix for all. We suss out each other.
