100 per person (foreign price), sad museum, not well maintained, took us 7 min to see the art. Worst spend money in Maputo.

Really enjoyed this small exhibition of local artists. Wood carvings and paintings. The 20 metical entrance fee was cheap.

This museum offers a small collection of art worth checking out. It does not take more than a half hour to see the entire exhibit on both levels. The work spanned media sources from traditional wood sculptures to paintings to mixed media collages. Much of the work had a "dark" feeling. It is understandable, as it is an expression of some dark times people have faced. Other pieces, are naturally more colorful. This museum is not necessarily a "must see" but it surely is worth a quick visit!

Small but excellent art museum featuring well-mounted paintings and large sculptures by Mozambican artists. Each work is labelled with name of artist, title (in Portuguese, but usually understandable), when born, and when the piece was created. Two floors.

The small art museum only has a couple of galleries, but includes some nice works. Photography is not allowed. It is located a few metres from the corner of Av. Karl Marx & Av. Ho Chi Min.
