I absolutely love Polana. I enjoy the peaceful... relaxing atmosphere around the whole hotel.
I enjoy going to the spa and just sit on the pool and relax.
I like breakfasts at Polana, when i wake up late and i have absolutely everything there.
The sunset at Aquarius and a glass of wine is just the perfect match.
The staff and management are immaculate with everyone.
Well done guys. Keep it up with the hard work.

Definitely a must see or even better stay when in Maputo! This old colonial hotel, nicely renovated is a charming place where you can dive into the elegance of good old times and feel the vibration of todays the buzzing business hub. And you probably meet Abhishek Negi - an Indian reincarnation of hospitality !

This renowned hotel has tremendous charm and elegance. Stunning sun rise breakfasts to peaceful sundowners, while soaking in all the charm of this must-visit classic. Very friendly staff, clean rooms that are serviced twice a day; rooms have modern amenities. Yes, it is very expensive, but well worth it for two or three nights. Not far from some of the popular restaurants - walking distance, if you like walking, which we do. An excellent, relaxed three nights.

Room Tip: Sea facing!

Look, you have to stay here - it's just the most beautiful, atmospheric location. My sober advice though: don't expect bang for your buck here - it is hectically expensive, and you do find gaps and holes in what is supposed to be 5 star service. Overall good experience, not sure I'll be back due to the cost.

Room Tip: Ask for the lower level sea facing rooms

I didn't actually stay here but was advised that it served fantastic iced coffee by a old university friend I met after 10 years of not seeing at the border, purely by chance, she was most definitely right

Stayed here for work for 3 days and overall was impressed. The pool area is stunning (if only it was summer) and the rooms themselves were decent. I arrived at 9pm and needed shirts pressed and they were back at 8am the next morning. Room service food was fast and good quality and the breakfasts included in the price were very decent - good salmon which is always a nice surprise. Room had DSTV and free and acceptable wifi. Oceans views. Unlike some of the reviewers I found the service fine. Staff would open doors and carry bags and there appeared no expectation of a tip.
