“Quantity over quality”
Reviewed July 12, 2014 via mobile

These are typical markets, and are quite large so you can find the souvenirs you want. Many of the vendors just sell he same items so finding unique things is rare. The vendors are happy and love a good bargaining session. Have some fun bargaining, but don't expect too much.

“Great for souvenirs”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

A great place to buy souvenirs, without too much hassle from the sellers. There is lots of nice woodwork for sale, and clothing/bags/accessories made from colorful, traditional fabrics. Very beautiful!

“A fun place to visit. ..”
Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

... but it is hardly a major tourist attraction. There are lots of interesting stalls and souvenirs to consider buying and it is perhaps the most authentic shopping experience in Maputo. Worth a visit.

“a pretty nice walk...”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

I visited the park twice since it was close to my hotel.
It's a great walk if you want to buy mozambican souvenirs (make sure you bargain a lot) or you just simply want to have a coffee or a local dish at a very good price.
I would expect to find a larger variety of plants but they only have very few and nothing uncommon but adding plants and little trees to the park it sure adds to the venture.

“Nice merchandise place”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Nice place to buy something as souvenir. If you want to buy something, take into your mind that you have to be patient with the personnel there: if they ask you 100for something, you have to give theme 25-30!!!!!
