Lunch. Height of tourist season, right on the beach.. recipe for disaster but so pleasantly surprised. Our waiter brought us a plate of three different sized prawns so that we could decide which size we wanted and we opted for the middle sized jobbies based on the advice of our host. The advice was to avoid the (huge) large size as the heads take up a fairly substantial ratio of the total size and the small ones, well, why go small? They were absolutely fantastic! Our son chose calamari which sent him into raptures. The beer is great and they make an absolutely wicked, refreshing, limb-loosening drink with rum, juice and ice - the name of which escapes me for one reason or another!
Don't expect swish or swanky, just really, really good beach-front eating.
