Great place to go specially if you like scuba diving in a coral sea. There is not much to do but to rest and enjoy the marvelous beaches with clean and warm water.

A definite must stay, Nola and Fritz are incredibly hospitable, they make you feel at home straight away. The camp is clean, neatly laid out, very close to the beach, and you relax from the minute you walk in to their lovely rustic establishment! I would recommend the government ferry from Maputo, it is a must experience, surprise awaits you on disembarkation as there are two! We were impressed with the communal kitchen, lots of freezers, even clean filtered water! You really do not have to bring much in the line of food, the village has plenty of stalls and you can buy lots of fruit, veggies, chicken, no red meat is available but it's not the end of the world! Booze is cheap! The lodge is 1km walk away from the village, but do what we did, you simply hike for a lift, very friendly people the Mozambicans! For superb beaches head east of the jetty, we played with starfish even! Be careful at the border, if anybody asks to see your currency in meticais, do not even give it to them, tell them you will get your currency in Maputo, these people are tricksters, overall, highly recommended and we would visit Ross Ramos camp again! We recommend a week's stay, as you will slip into island life and not want yo go back home! Viva Ross Ramos and the beautiful island of inhaca!

The beach, snorkelling and chilli. Would like to arrange a day trip to Inhaca Island only, so the kids can have some fun. It is the perfect place for children under 10

The way beaches should be. Away from the condominium development overtaking almost all coastal sites. Have to fly 15 minutes from mainland to here- well there is a boat, but.... You can spend the night- at the Pestana hotel there which is not very modern but certainly adequate. It has a restaurant.

You feel like in the paradise, quiet place to relax, romantic escape.....
I visited the place with kids and explored Portuguese Islands, Lighthouse beach and Ponta de Santamaria. A nice escape few minutes away from Maputo.
