Nice coffee shops and you get to see Maputo for what it once was. Nice architecture. No entry fee. They still have their old trains on display.

definitely worth seeing. it's evident why it was voted as one of the most beautiful train stations in the world by forbes. they have jazz nights during the week, which makes for a fun atmosphere.

As a train station, it is not that exciting, though somewhat charming. However, it is very interesting to see how the train station transforms into a club on Friday and Saturday night, which is quite a lot of fun. If you are going to go out here, worth a stop

The station is beautiful! Too bad there are no trains leaving from there anymore... It was the highlight of our short stay in Maputo

I believe this station features in the movie "Blood Diamonds" as a hotel in Freetown! In reality this is a train station. I felt priviledged to see it for real. It is one of the iconic buildings one must visit in this historical city! It is unfortunate that I lost my new camera with all pictures I took!
