My husband and i went there on our last night and we did not expect this kind of amazing food with the new chef Ayushi who is really excellent and even came to see us personally at our table! We totally recommend this place and the bonus is that it is not even expensive for the quality of food they offer!!

It took me quite some time to figure out what i felt like eating - the menu was a complete "dossier" of good to read dishes. Didn't feel like fish, beef, chicken nor seafood so I went for the "magret de canard" that had enticed me on pictures i saw on Facebook itself. Sipping my glass of wine, I waited for my carefully selected dish. It came within the next following 15mins or so. (The service was fab too!). The plating gave me that comfort food feeling. I took a picture (of course!) and then carefully started choosing the sections to begin my main course (because it was actually filled with delicacies like sequence of stories). So there I attacked the duck first- tasted like duck, exactly the way I wanted it to be. But dude! The moment I started to play around with the different flavours on my plate, my taste buds were stunned! It was a burst of flavours I never tasted before and it was a beautiful surprise - like a love story (no,I am not drama-queening!). I had to stop and savour each mouthful like it was an sweet intimate moment (believe me when i say your eyes will close by itself to savour this emotional moment). My heart was near to jumping out. I wanted to talk, hell I wanted to talk. God sent me the waiter who enquired about the food, in no time I blurted out, "Extraordinaire! Je n'ai pas de mot". It was then that I realised that I had forgotten to drink my wine because I was so engrossed in loving my food. I forgot everything else. My only focus from then was on trying to make my food last for more minutes. So I resolved to eating tiny mouthfuls. At last, sadly one piece of mushroom was left rolled in the incredible mix of flavours, we both looked at each other and at that moment I decided to wait some more. Someone came to ask if I was done, I nearly took my plate in my hand to say "Non! J'ai pas fini". But all good things have to come to an end, my dish too. I narrated all of this story just to tell you that my dinner at l'Archipel des Saveurs was pure magic and nothing like I tasted before. It was a play of flavours so incredibly well thought out by the Lady Executive Chef Yu. Kudos to you and for the time you put in hearing out your customers! It was as promised, an out of the ordinary culinary experience. Price wise, it's not exorbitant. It is value for money when considering the quality and taste of the food. It is a highly recommended place with a nice chic set up. I am going there every month from now just to try out the whole menu little by little you definitely should too!

I have been to L’Archipel des saveurs several times and it has always been a favorite on my list. The decor, atmosphere, waiters and most importantly, the foooood Delicious. I am a picky eater and a connaisseur at the same time. A few words with the Chef and the food comes to the table the way I want. Looking forward for the new menu; I heard there’s a new Chef. Can’t wait

Heard this restaurant is led by one of the famous lady executive chef, so we decided to tried it out. It took so long just for a plate of main dish which has average taste and horrible plating. Sorry but this restaurant is totally not recommended.

I rarely (if ever) leave reviews for the restaurants I go to. But when a restaurant is that bad, it forces you to do something about it. And the best I can do is recount my experience.

I was at domaine les alizes 2 days ago with my partner and we had a nice massage at the SPA les 5 sens, which we bought on the website marideal.mu. This was a package that included an 80 minute massage and lunch at the archipel des saveur restaurant. The maasage was amazing. We were both very pleased with the service we got there. But then, we went for lunch at the restaurant, and there we were served Dorade fish on a bed of vegetables. The vegetables are nice. The dorade fish was uncooked and bad. We just couldn't eat it because of how raw it was as well as the smell. We told the server about it and he took our plates away without doing anything about it, just coming back and asking us if we wanted desert. As if he didn't care. Soon after we left the restaurant, my partner started feeling sick. She pucked in the car. And she only had a bite of her fish. I had at least half of mine and although I felt nauseous, I didn't feel as sick as her. Long story short, 2 days after, she's still feeling sick -- diarrhea, nausea, head aches, etc. We're going to the doctor today.

I don't recommend this place.
