“Take A Walk”
Review of Nature Sanctuary

Nature Sanctuary
Reviewed September 6, 2012

It's something to do on a lazy Sunday and you want to just get outside. Go early as it can get busy later in the afternoon timeframe. Pay very close attention to the trail markers, and a GPS may be helpful. Although not a huge area, you can still become a bit "lost" if you take the wrong trail. Overall though, nice thing to do if you want to spend a few hours out of doors. Recommended.....

With few tourists myself and two others had a private tour of the reserve,in effect.
Mostly these are rescued animals most of whom will go back to the wild.
A cause worth supporting?yes, and with an entrance fee of about £2 who can argue against its value. If your name is Scrooge you might like to take advantage of the 10per cent discount vouchers on their advertising flyers.
Where can you get an hour or so's entertainment for £1.80!

It is a beautiful location with animal in large natural area, not a tight zoo. Not as many animal as one would expect, but they work for a great cause of rescuing animals. My favorite was Bella the Romanian one eyed lioness. Wanted to give her a big hug. Some goes for our guide who never stopped smiling and help point out things we would not have seen. The guide is covered with your admission.

Loved the long trail and variety of animals (one eyed lion, and crocodiles really special). Excellent guides.

Good food, pleasant surroundings. If you have time, take the nature walk at the rehab area (about an hour, unless you get hung up watching the baboons feed). The lion is fed at 1530.
