They seem to have a captive market in the mid-range hotels in Lilongwe. The rooms vary from the worn out 50s look to pleasant up to date rooms. There is a pool, too. Provided that you get a reasonable room you should be ok. The problem is the food and the staff attitude.
The food is expensive and not particularly good. I don't count a coleslaw roll and two tiny chicken legs as a decent evening meal and the rice when we got it was cold. The attitude of the staff was surly and pretty unhelpful so don't stay here if you can find a reasonable alternative.
