“Visited it as was on the way!”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

It is supposed to be a historical place and the summer palace of the king. Not much to see or explore and probably would not have gone if it was not on my way. couple of artefacts from the old era and not very well maintained. Expensive to visit considering the time you could spend. excellent view around from the top.

“Not worthwhile going out of your way to visit”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

There is not much to see at the Royal Palace other than the view from the top of the hill. It is not worthwhile going out of your way to visit nor is it worth the entrance fee unless you have an special interest.

“Interesting but not much to see”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

A bit far from the city , but taxis can take you there. Not much to see, it is interesting though.

“It was the King's Summer Palace, intereesting drive to the place because of numerous typical and lovely villages.”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

The entrance gateway is very original with its huge wheellike lock flat stone. Inside the Palace: the royal stone bath, the wooden Palace which holds ancient remainents of royal clothing, and old pots and pans. The royal grave where local people worship their King and ancestor spirits.

“Fascinating visit”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

be prepared for slow drive through almost stationary traffic to get to this site, but once there really interesting tour with excellent guide explaining the culture and traditions of the last king and queen's. No photos allowed actually inside either palaces. Fascinating insight into rapid change within 100 years of exposure to western influence yet the old practices including animal sacrifice seem to still be continued
