Our tour group stayed in this hotel for 2 nights before and after going to Diego Suarez. The room was nicely decorated with classic European style furniture, a Jacuzzi-shaped bathtub, a separate toilet area but the carpet need to be replaced. There were about 14 TV channels with only 1 English channel which was CNN. There was free WiFi in the lobby area with good reception and speed. There was also a musician playing live music in the lobby area at night. While hanging around at the lobby, beware there were mosquitoes flying around for preys. There were 2 levels of spa with a gym, several massage rooms and a heated swimming pool on 2nd basement. Housekeeping/technician’s service of the hotel was very efficient.
Food at dinner at the hotel restaurant was on the salty side for first evening. After reminding the restaurant several times we did not like food that salty, there was improvement. We highly appreciated the chef accommodating our early flight at 6.30 a.m. and prepared our breakfast at 3 a.m. for the 1st night.
We experienced communication problem with hotel staff as they hardly speak English.More
