Although there is a substantial and wealthy Indian community in Madagascar the country has few Indian restaurants. This was our second visit to the Terasse exotique, the first one about 5 years back. We did not return as the waitress had visibly dirty hands. However we decided last wekk to give the Terasse a second chance in its new location.
The food was very good and authenticand the portions generous. The service, (from our clean handed waiter) also was also excellent and unobtrusive.
Sadly however the question of hygiene has still not been addressed by the management. The ice bucket and tongs accompanying the lassi, like the jug, had seriously ingrained dirt and the cutlery was not clean.
We would love to go again but not until cleanliness rules.
