We went before 9 am and had the park to ourselves. Becel was a fantastic guide, strongly recommend asking for him! Managed to get some great photos & videos of two troops (black ruffed and cockerel sifakas) running & playing together. Highlight of the trip was seeing a 5 day old cockerel sifaka. Enjoyed learning about the fauna from different parts of the country as well.

This is a quick trip from Tana and I highly recommend it. It's easy (about 20km's from the city). Guides speak great English and are knowledgeable about the flora as well as the fauna. Somehow our guide spotted a Chameleon, which was a real highlight for this reptile lover. The Lemurs - what can I say? We saw 7 of about 9 species they have there. Amazing. I'm so glad I made time to go.

This is one of the main attractions of Antananarivo. Depending on traffic, it is around a 45 minute drive outside the city center. You get a guide who shows you a large number of species of lemurs that roam the site. You can get very close to them and take fantastic photos. It is worth a 2nd and 3rd trip too.

this is a great place to see Lemurs' up close. it's not to far out of town and well worth the trip.
on our way back to the city we stopped along the road side and bought roasted corn from the local villagers and what we are calling Malagsy tamales. they were both really good!

This is very good if you can't get to see the lemurs in the wild, which is always the best way. There is not much in the shop but they do take Euro.
