“Good service, free transfer from/to hotel at night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2014

The restaurant looks great. It's easy to find because it's on main railway station.
The menu is mostly french, the food is tasty. Would recommend combination of chocolate mousse and brownies for desert. There is also a night club above the restaurant.
Service is very good and the best thing about this restaurant is free of charge transfer from hotel to the restaurant and back to hotel after dinner. I would recommend taking such an offer because it is spooky to walk around that neighbourhood during the night - no public lighting, no manhole covers on the streets, etc.

“A little bit of France in downtown Antananarivo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2014

Had a lunch here before visiting Madarail's depot and a short trip on one of the last running Micheline railcars in the world. The fair is quite Franco-American in style, I had a burger and was not disappointed. The restaurant itself is quite colonial in style, very much a home from home feel. Food and service pretty good. Shame no proper trains run to the station any more!

“You must visit this place”

Although we had only coffee and drinks here, we would strongly recomment a visit, this place has a great design and atmosphere and is situated in the beautiful old railway station.

“Good French food in a beautiful old building”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

We had a fantastic French meal , the service was prompt and friendly and the food arrived quickly. The waitress was well versed in the English language which was a plus in an overwhelmingly French/ Malagasy speaking city. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality of the food, since Tana itself is very rundown and one does not expect this quality in this distinctly African city. The setting was also very nice, it is located in an old station building and the interior decoration is pleasant and well fitted to the theme.
We were warned by several people to be aware of pickpockets on the square before entering.
