I've stayed 2 nights in Almahary, calm neighborhood and near to the old city of Tripoli.

The conference halls were really comfy and IT staff were there to help.Rooms were really great, but I wasn't lucky enough to get a room with the sea view.

I enjoyed food the most at the hotel restaurant, it was an open buffet with multi-cultural dishes selection.

Haven't tried staying in other hotels in the area but I do recommend this one.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea and city view !

Located on the Corniche of Tripoli, in a walking distance from the town center, Al Mahary offers the best choice for the business traveller. It is not cheap, but you will learn to appreciate the little thingsm such as a working and reasonably fast wifi that it offers in exchange. Reasonable security measures, good cuisine, a (usually) working ATM all add to the overall experience. The business center is also ok. They also offer airport pickup with a driver - highly recommended if you do not know your ways in Tripoli. Get a high-floor room, because the view is superb.

Room Tip: Get a high-floor and enjoy the view

Nice hotel. Have been using this for business purposes. Nice clean rooms. Nice restaurants. Good central location in Tripoli. Rooms have all the amenities you would expect. Wifi provided. Close to airport.

Almahary Radisson is - in many ways - the place to stay at if you intend to do business in Tripoli. It has a decent business center, the staff are very helpful, the location and the views out of the top floor are great and the food is quite decent. The price is a bit on the high side for a night in Tripoli but you get value for your money.

Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged via the onsite Hertz desk and they can provide transport services while you there including driver (which you are advised to use if you have not driven in a place like Tripoli before)

The hotel is also near the town center without being too noisy and crowded.

Enjoy your stay

Room Tip: Rooms facing the corniche have a better view. Rooms facing the city are quiter. Try to get a higher floor.
