I was surprised - they managed to keep a semblance of radisson' standard in tripoli despite them turmoil. One of the only relaxing reprieves in the city.
Helpful staff, decent food and breakfast with lots of choices. Well located. Good gym.

A quick summary... no hot water for 24 hours even if I asked 3 times for the problem to be fixed... Night receptionist sleeping in his office and I had to wake him up at 6:30 am... because no one was picking up the phone!
check out was a misery... my stay and my airport transfers were paid in advance by my company but they had no trace of the payment at the front office. I had all receipts with me but no one from Commercial department or reservation was available . Clearly a very bad communication between the hotel departments.
the rest was ok.

If you manage to ignore the bullet hole in the darkened glass door to the left of the main entrance then this is the perfect hotel in Tripoli. Comfortable, great location, the choice of many embassy staff. I will come back. They have probably the best coffee and croissant cafe next door. Really very good!

Tripoli may have its problems but I felt safe in the Radison Blu. Great gym, great outdoors swimming pool (heated). Good buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms up to Western 5 star standards. Everyone very helpful. Free internet a bonus.

very nice hotel with a good location for a business trip even the price is high compared to the standard in the country. rooms and service are quite good, some improvment needed for a faster check in and out
