This hotel is great for visiting Accra and the surrounding Villages. It is a good 20 minute drive to the centre of Accra , but you do get the tranquility and the beach to your self and you will get a better understanding of local life. the hotel rooms are very spacious but old fashioned. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is in good condition but with he beach directly in-front . You will not need the pool.

Overall not a bad hotel, a little far from Accra centre so takes a long time into town in high traffic. My toilet had a leak which was fixed but no offer of another room? The TV was poor i feel if they're going to put one in then the reception should be good. The Internet was poor as it kept dropping in and out also i had 10 power cuts in 24hrs all be it not for long but when doing business on your computer it can be frustrating. The staff however are very courteeous so that was refreshing. would i reccomend? not sure

We chose to stay here for one night to get a bit of respite from our usual living conditions in Accra. We found the hotel staff to be very courteous and responsive. The hotel grounds and rooms were the cleanest we encountered with clean sheets and pillows! There was running water, and electricity consistently, but we did have difficulty with the internet on and off during our stay. That said, it was more consistent than anywhere else we had stayed. The food was good, traditional Ghanian food, supplemented with some traditional European food for breakfast. We enjoyed the pool. The beach is littered and rocky in front of the hotel and was not suitable for swimming, but we enjoyed the ocean breezes and the view. One thing to be aware of is that when we stayed, the rate included a complementary breakfast buffet, but also a complementary dinner buffet. This was not well indicated, and we almost missed both of these meals.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel but it seemed empty as the hotel is very big. The staff were very friendly and the meals were nice. The hotel was very clean and the beach side was nice too. The only downside was the distance from main accra. The traffic was bad going in to town. Although the road was under construction at the time, Feb 2011,

I travel in Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana) about 2-3 times per year, so I have a pretty decent tolerance for crappy African quality hotels. I couldn't take this place for more than 3 nights, I left early.

This hotel pretty low quality, not so much in its facilities, but in its management. The staff were really poorly trained or motivated, whichever, they were not attentive or competent. Really spotty internet access (worse than I expect in Ghana, the water was out 2 of the 3 mornings I was here (one day it took 2.5 hours and 6 phone calls just to eventually get a bucket of water to wash and shave with), for 2 of 3 dinners, I was given the wrong meal, for one of them, the fish smelled pretty old, so it had to be sent back. Aside from that, the quality and selection wasn't very good, particularly the breakfast! I had mosquitoes in my room the first night and got all bit up; I asked for the hotel to address it or change the room, their was to essentially fumigate the room, but it was so smelly the time i returned for the evening, I couldn't stand it.

I was supposed to stay two more nights but left early because off those issues added up to be extremely frustrating; I just couldn't take it anymore.

I enjoyed my stay. This is an older model hotel, but it has been pretty well maintained. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The only issue I had during my stay was that my room key deactivated and it took a long time to get it working again. The staff at the front desk were apologetic and had the key sent to my room. The food was delicious and there was a good variety of options to choose. Overall, this was a good hotel choice and I would definitely return here.

The hotel has very nice and friendly staff. The chalet rooms offer a calming beachfront view and are very cozy. The tv experience could be more entertaining. It has a lovely swimming pool and nice, tasty meals with complimentary breakfast. A tour to visit places of interest was also arranged. Internet connectivity not so reliable
