Three weeks ago we returned to the U.S. from five nights at Bojo Beach Resort with two other couples. We found the resort modern and at the same time it captures the flavor and culture of Ghana. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Our room was large with all the amenities: wii-fi, flat screen TV, refrigerator and a great mattress. The meals were delicious! It was wonderful to experience authentic Ghanaian dishes. The Bojo beach is perfect for a day of relaxation, fun or swimming. Bojo Resort arranged terrific tours for us! We visited Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Museum, Independence Square, St. George's Castle in Elmina, Kakum National Park, Aburi Botanic Gardens and more. Our guide and driver were excellent.

This was my first trip to Africa and Bojo Beach exceeded my expectations in every way immaginable. The food was outstanding and prepared fresh daily in a family style manner. The staff was courteous, friendly and very accommodating. They were there for our every need. The resort is brand new with stylish rooms with flat screen TV's, wifi through out, ceiling fans and air conditioning, modern fixtures and furniture, and views of the beach and pavillion area or the pool. The beach was a great way to spend a day just relaxing in the sun while drinking a sparkling beverage and eating a kebab. There is a certain local flavor to the boat ride across the river to the beach which adds to the charm of the location. We had a blast and I look forward to our return adventure.

Bojo Beach Resort provided an exciting and most enjoyable visit to Ghana in a beautiful and relaxing venue. The staff were very convivial, nice and accommodating when requests were made. The resort was very modern with beautiful cultural décor and artistry. The rooms with balcony were spacious and the view was quite appealing (Ocean, Pool and terrain). Could use a dressing Mirror in the room. The meals were quite enjoyable in the resort dining room and on the beach.
The Live entertainment with the drummers and dancers on the beach was a special treat celebrating our 41st anniversary! The canoe ride across the lagoon to the Beach is a nice added feature to the beach experience.

Bojo Beach Resort is truly a most wonderful experience. Resort staff greets you in the morning with "maakye", a bright smile and you just know its going to be a good morning and a great day as well. The Resort rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and, for those of us who just have to stay connected while away, the WiFi system is really good. I loved the food served at the Resort, especially pahlava sauce -- which I tried to have at every meal!

The Resort arranged a number of tours for us during our stay which we found to be not only educational, but on a personal level, to be "connective" in that what we saw connected us to a place and time we had read about, but never before touched. Highly recommend the Resort arranged tours (bring comfortable shoes for walking about).

The Beach is great, but cold beer, sun and waves make every beach great to me and this beach has all that and more. The Resort is expanding and we saw where the Pavillion will be, and the Spa and the golf driving range. Can't wait to go back and experience more.
