Nice business hotel, nice but sloooow stuff, beautiful and clean surroundings. Rooms are large enough, but I miss window opening possibility. Swimming pool area is perfect. Generally I always feel ok, however food offer is very average for the level of hotel it wants to be. For example: they don't have in offer really fresh fruit juices, in the heart of Africa this shouldn't be a challenge.

Generally a good business hotel. The hotel is clean and generally pretty, with some nice art in lobbies and common areas. Rooms were comfortable and quiet - though the pillows were understuffed and lumpy and could be difficult to sleep on. Air conditioning was quiet and worked fine. Wireless internet worked fine, though you could only be connected on one device at a time.

Staff were polite and friendly and generally helpful, but requests could take a long time. Calling the front desk to put a request in doesn't necessarily mean that request happens - sometimes it takes multiple hours and repeat calls for a request, and the front desk staff just report "but I put the request in" and don't seem to care whether or not anything happened. It took 6 days and ~4 requests for the TV remote to be fixed (needed new batteries).

Restaurant was ok - nothing amazing, but not too bad. Expensive though.

The rooms are comfortable and very clean, a nice touch when I had to leave the hotel to go to another city, and return a few days later, was a glass of fresh juice and fruit, and water, to welcome me back! The food, for the price, was pretty average, but then many buffets are when hotels are catering for large diverse groups of clientele.

Im not very patient I therefore choose buffet.
Sushis are not good at all.
Desserts look very attractive but are not good at all.
Service is very bad.
Every time I come back from the buffet I have to call the waiters to clean my table. If you are a solo woman they dont pay any attention.
They even bring you a wrong bill.
I had dinner from the buffet and order a tea.
My bill was 8 cedis!
They obviously forgot to charge the 70 cedis for the buffet because they were not paying attention.
Obviously I let them know and they were "sorry".
Not worth it.

I visit the Movenpick hotel quite frequently when I'm in Ghana and I am surprised that the 5-star service delivery is still not up to scratch. Each time I go to the poolside bar with a client or friend, waiter on roller-skates eventually pops up after at least 10 minutes waiting time, asking what would we like to drink? I then always have to ask for the bar menu which takes another number of minutes to arrive and by the time I order drinks more time has lapsed... worst still is when drinks on the menu are not available from stock! But my latest pet peeve is the offer of free peanuts with drinks in the bar.... often pretty flat and stale or soft peanuts (groundnuts as we call them in Ghana). Why can't a 5-star hotel sort out the availability of fresh peanuts? There is no excuse really... even the banana sellers have fresh groundnuts on their heads for sale!

One could put this hotel in any city in the world and it would be first rate. The restaurant features a decent buffet, the pool is great, the wifi is free, and the staff very helpful. Things that probably won't matter to most, but did to me were the fact that the business center lacks a high speed copier and the ability to post mail. It would also be nice if the place had a small shop to buy convenience items.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in, in a long time. Great service, lovely rooms and nice food. My only criticisms would be that it could have been anywhere in the world, wifi was intermittent, was expensive and the buffet restaurant gets boring!

However, returning to this hotel after a day in the Ghanian heat - is really welcome. You know it is clean, pleasant and welcoming! Would recommend.
