“PRICEY, Great Food and Bad Toilete”
Reviewed October 14, 2011

OMG! The food is outstanding. I had shrimp and fried rice with bottle water. Many of my tourmates had other equally delicious meals. We should have called in advance for a large party- probably our poor planning that resulted in a very long wait for food. Fortunately, the view was amazing- down a set of terrace stairs (uneven steps with low ridge for rail) to the patio of the restaurant- weather beaten brick and stone structure, riight on the beach- boats dotted the coastline as well as large jagged rocks. This was my first trip to Africa's Atlantic Coast and it was breathtaking. The toilete, while not the worse could have been cleaner and there were no handtowels and little toilet paper. Carry your own!!

“Great location !”
Reviewed September 14, 2011

Beach bar across huge empty lot...dodgy steps down to choice of terraces...popular with young backpackers and volunteer workers.Food is acceptable ghanian based although waiter will encourage you to over order...portions are large...meal for 4 with 2 drinks each was ghC 60.Sometimes live music Fri/Sat.Dead quiet during the week. The location is breathtaking with big breakers you think are going to soak you !!Good place to go after Makola market to chill with a cold drink.

“Nice view, prices ok, but count your Guinea fowl”
Reviewed July 22, 2011

We visited the place after an evening meeting in town. As mentioned before very nice and powerful seaview, drinks (beer and minerals) are priced resonable, but food service is another game.
Sanitary wise be warned.
The khebab and guinea fowl seller has often "amputated" fowls for sale, so count when it comes to the table.
The place lokks a bit worn out at this time, maybe managment has changed or renovation money is short.

“beer with ocean view”
Reviewed July 11, 2011

didn't eat here, just had beer to cool off. it's right next to the ocean and i see that it's a popular place. the bathroom - yikes. makes you wary of eating here. cleanliness of bathroom reflects cleanliness of kitchen, you know.
