It was a nice gesture from one of my Japanese Colleague to take me to this restaurant on my business trip to Accra. The restaurant is small, open with not so good lighting but being compromised by the variety of Indian Food they offer. The side dishes tasted like authentic Inidan where as the Indian bread tastes needs improvement. There is a bar associated with the restaurant with plenty of drinks. Over all a nice experience and an enjoyable dinner with friends.

Tandoor- Indian cuisine with a twist of taste. This al fresco dining is my go-to restaurant when in town for a royal meal noted for its succulent delicacies from the charcoal oven, melt-in-the-mouth Indian breads, fresh pickles and dips and Kulfi - the traditional, Indian icecream mixed with fresh seasonal fruits and nuts. The menu is exhaustive and you are often left spoilt for choice. From the wide range of hot hors d'oeuvres, the wraps filled with delicately spiced chicken, lamb or paneer(Indian cottage cheese) is to die for as is the crispy, triangular pastries (aka samosa). The towering tastes lay in the succulent and flavourful, meaty-morsels of heaven, freshly grilled in a charcoal oven, 'tandoor'. The 'malai kebabs', the popular 'chicken tikka' and the 'pudina tikkas' (chicken cubes marinated with mint) is a 'must-order'. These grills, accompanied with hot, fresh-from-the-oven breads is a clear hit. You can even choose the degree of 'hot' when ordering your yummilicious curries and if you choose to abstain from alcoholic beverages, then unworry; one can pick from the wide range of seasonal, fresh fruit juices from the juice bar with a complimentary bowl of spiced cocktail peanuts to keep you company. The ambience is chilled out, the staff; friendly and polite and Tandoor's owner, young, dynamic and ultra hospitable, plays the perfect host as he never fails to come around to check that 'all is well' with your dining experience.

Tandoor serves up a really decent meal, very authentic taste and a huge menu choice. We had a Butter chicken that was slightly spicy and some good naan, the choices are endless - Im sure well be back to try a few more items on the menu. The atmosphere is really casual, another good option for an easy going night out. Well worth a try.
