I've been in Ghana for a long time and it's one of my favourite restaurants in town. Steve and Michael are such nice guys (manager and sushi chef), Sushi is mouthwatering and the ambience really makes you feel at ease. Service is not one of the fastest in Accra but who cares when you are in Monsoon!
But please guys, do something about the washrooms!!

Located on the most easily approachable tourist area of Osu and the most crowded shopping street, it is one restaurant which is among the list of favourite dining places of most of the people that I have interacted.

The food is really exotic and menu has dishes like ostrich egg, crocodile tail and many more such delicacies.

You have to be there to see the full range.

Monsoon has the most diverse crowd and the nicest host in the business, Steve. Monsoon has a sushi restuarant ( the first in ghana) and a Tepanyaki one. Both are excellent. Music is awesome , the beer is always chilled and the veranda/balcony section is so cool.
Worth the visit anytime you are in Ghana.

Our close friend took us here when we're new and just moved-in and ever since then we've decided that it's going to be our favorite place while living in Accra. Steve, owner of Mansoon, when he's around, visits each table and make sure everyone's taken care of. He'll make suggestions when paring food and wine if/when inquired. Connie, the lovely Chef, will prepare each dishes with delight. My husband calls ahead of time to give Connie time to prep his favorite dish and it's always been satisfactory when he get's it. Dennis, the Bar man, is friendly and accommodating.
I can categorized Mansoon into three areas. 1, seating outside for a relaxing lay-back dinner and yet still intimate. 2 the bar & smoking for drink first then dinner or just drink and mingle. 3 the seating inside dinner for a cozy, more intimate and yet relaxing dinner.

Great "ecape" from the average restaurants in Accra, excellent selection ranging from Sushi & Teppanyaki to Meat, Seafood etc. Prices are a little on the steep side for Accra standards but the quality never fails, super quality sushi. Parking can be a problem on weekends but get there early and enjoy drinks on the big outdoor terrace. Always enjoy the complimentary round of drinks after the meal, great little touch.
