My daughter and I have been customers of La Dolce Vita for around 8 years. For the last 3 or 4 years we have eaten there on Saturday or Sundays nights at least 40 weeks of every year. Since the restaurant is run by Italian friends, the pizza's and other Italian food closely resemble the real thing (made with local and imported ingredients). There is a good atmosphere and they usually have live music on Saturday nights. The prices are reasonable for Libreville. This is an open air restaurant, and can be very hot during the daytime and evenings if there is no breeze. My suggestion to my friends is to improve the ventilation. They should also consider a no-smoking area as pointed out in other reviews, but this isn't a problem if one is seated on the deck or at the windows when there is a good sea breeze.
