Just a Night ! At the price it was ok! I've eaten a lot at the microbrewry a very lively place so I didn't mind staying there, good food, flat bed and u'll need another blanket, No ac. I think that's a common ethiopian quirk. Decent tv ,check in uneventful so was check out. All in All fair.

Stayed one night prior to flying home. It was comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent with lots of lovely things which we hadn't got in our previous hotel. The room was large with a really good shower. The shuttle to the airport was efficient.

Room Tip: Westayed on the front and it had a jmassive balcony overlooking the lawns at the front.

Stayed here for one night at the beginning of my trip to Ethiopia. Room was fair sized and I would compare it to a lower priced American motel. The price was high since we were there at the end of a major African meeting. Internet didn't work for me while I was there (I was on the 5th floor, but I couldn't get access in the lobby either), but then I couldn't get access much anywhere in the country during the trip. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was OK and the price was good. I would stay here again if needed. The location is very close to the airport and there are some convenient restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. The staff was friendly and their service was good.

I didn't stay at this hotel, only went there for dinner once.

You can quickly see that this is a place for tourists—most of the customers were indeed 'faranjis' and the food they serve is rather German/European. Even if not very Ethiopian, the quality is good and they even have self-brewed beer.
There is also WiFi available and it worked fine for me.

The food is good, they serve huge beers and the price is OK, so this might be a good place if you want to skip for once the ethiopian/traditional food and have something more european.

The drive from Airport was approximately 15 Minutes during the busy period, car can be booked when booking rooms at no cost. The hotel rooms are spacious and room facilities very good, always hot water at any time night or day. The staff are friendly and helpful always. The restaurant food was good with a good variety of german choices, and the beer is very good. This is well worth a stay, some good bars and clubs wuthin walking distance as it is safe all the time. If you are to go go out at night just remember Addis is split in regions and no main centre so a taxi is required.

The rooms are good and the price is average for Addis. The internet (avoid the 5th floor at all costs, no internet there) is unreliable. The service at the restaurants both the 1st floor and the beer bar is terrible - we waited over 1.5 hrs for food and then up to 45 mins for the bill. The reception staff are charming and helpful. there are plenty cockroaches but this is to be expected in a building of that age. On checkout you cannot get an invoice, which is a big problem. The area is a hotel district, with many new hotels being built which will offer more modern and clean facilities than the BGI; the area is also full of brothels ("massage"), beggars; and bag snatching. it's near a major church and mosque - early morning prayers are broadcast from both: you will definitely need earplugs! There are lots of good resturants around, rather go out (but dont carry any bag) than eat in the hotel

Room Tip: avoid the 5th floor if you want internet access
