The staff are some of the best people that you will meet. They aren’t just service driven and you will find that they genuinely care about your well being. Ask for the Special Tea (orange and ginger based) if you are feeling sick. Oh and the Men’s Barber are great!

All the services were beyond expectations. The rooms were well cleaned daily and all staff members were ready to help. Check in and check out were timely handled. The shuttle was also on time.
I enjoyed the variety of the food provided.

May 12th, 2019 was my friend's wedding day. Since the wedding was lunch time we had to find a place to gather families and do the cultural ceremony called YEDABO SEM after the wedding. So our basic requirement was to find a place which has primarily a good gathering place,food and a nice suite room to spend the night for the wedding couples. Day before the wedding we searched so many different hotels but we couldn't find a place that fits our needs. Then we came to capital hotel reception and told us about a suite room & that there is a VIP lounge and informed us we can do the gathering there. Then we said we would think about it. As we were talking and goin out of the compound thinking what to decide we unexpectedly saw the cultural place of capital hotel which we had no clue about. Then we said let's check it out. Then we went in and met some one with great personality, charming with full of smile EYERUSALEM. Starting from the beginning she made us feel welcomed and treated us well. Then we informed her about our requirement that we need a reservation for a YEDABO SEM ceremony about 20-30 people to have a dinner. she made everything easy for us. She told us she will make a reservation personally and arrange everything for us & also Informed us there is excellent band. The way she presented/described things made us decide right at that moment that we found the best place. Even we decided to book the room after we Saw her excellent customer service treatment. So we booked a room right away.
May 12th as she said everything was in place and all of us were amazed. Her service was extraordinary. As I am a pilot at Ethiopian airlines, my career allows me to see so many restaurants and service all over the world and day before yesterday was one of best nights ever. And it was Our server EYERUSALEM MESFIN who made it the best memorable night for the wedding couples and all family & friends. She was attentive, knowledgeable, patience, her speed of service was astonishing.
Even after we had our excellent dinner. She proposed that if we want a specific song like wedding song she would manage to talk to the band and play it for us. I was like amazed and the band played us a wedding song and we really had a great night.
In general she made us feel comfortable, like we were in our home.
She is really a huge asset for the restaurant and I recommend she deserves an excellent credit. We will definitely come back soon.

This is a one-stop hotel, you have conferencing facilities, spa and gym and great hotel rooms in one to top it up there is a restaurant housed on the lower level of the hotel, offering great local artists and local music. We had 3 conferences in a row onsite and offsite and the hotel managed to cater for all the needs from catering transport, gala dinner, airport shuttles and the service is seamless. Thank you Capital hotel, thank you Tigist for making our meetings a breeze and handled with great professionalism.
Room tip: Higher floors and mountainside have a better view

I stayed at this hotel for almost 3 weeks. This was my 1st time at this hotel. I think I have found my home away from home. I was very pleased with my room. It was spacious, clean and the amenities were very good. The location of this hotel is ideal. It’s only 3 miles from the airport and within walking dist. to grocery stores, restaurants & coffee shops. If this is your 1st time in ET, remember, ET is known for its’ coffee, and you have not had coffee until you’ve had a traditional cup of ET coffee. I am generally quite comfortable walking around the city. This hotel is in an area of Addis that is ideal for walking. If you stay at this hotel, I recommend eating at least once at their traditional restaurant which has nightly cultural music and excellent food. Although the breakfast is “ok” the pleasant dining room staff made it a pleasure to eat there each morning. The staff were professional, accommodating & greeted me every am and pm with a smile and salutations. I would be remiss if I did not say a special thank you to Selam Mulat who was understanding when I accidentally double booked. She resolved the issue expeditiously and efficiently. Also, enough cannot be said about Michael Legesse & Kitbarek, who are outstanding representatives of this hotel. I have been to Addis several times over the past 3 years and expect to be back again b/f the year is out. I love getting good value for my $ which is why I will continue to patronize this hotel. See you soon!
