If you are in addis you want coffee this the place you must visit after all this a country where coffee birth and breed.

Tomoca's original café in the "old town" called Piazza is a wonderful little time capsule. Interior and decor untouched, while still serving great coffee. Things to notice:
- the wall painting of a lion
- the naming of different grounds
- the token system from the cashier to the barista
A rainy afternoon in June it was full of locals, having a stand up coffee.

Tomoca cafe have been around in Ethiopia for many years. They have been the number one coffee shop in Ethiopia and maintained their level of service and quality of product until now. I recommend for coffee lovers to visit their many brunch through out in Addis.

Good coffee, oldest coffee stand in Addis was what we were led to believe. Very great local feel. Older men are the baristas, no chairs, you stand at counters! Def not Starbucks! Thankfully!! They roast small batches of beans on site, smells great just walking into their store! I understand they've built a new coffee place across town. I'm glad we saw & tasted the original!
