“Classic Coffee Must-Do”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Every Ethiopian we asked told us to come to Tomoca. Sitting on stools, sipping macchiatos with new friends was a highlight. (as was filling up a suitcase of their roasted beans!)

“Touristy but good.”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

The coffee was indeed good. Not sure what all the hype is alfl about though. It is very touristy as evident when approaching the place you bombard by street sellers hawking their wares.

“Tourist Trap, Indeed.”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

This used to be the best place for coffee but not anymore. We visited this place about 10 years ago and it was great. Although when we went there this year, the quality became a lot worse and the atmosphere of the cafe completely changed (coffee we received was burnt!). Still decent coffee of course, but you can find better coffee around (Cafe Choche, for example). I don't think we'll return anytime soon!

“Tourist trap- coasting off an award won decades ago.”
Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

Tourist trap, you can tell with the mini buses that rock up and the hoardes of tourist-tat sellers that are fighting over each other to open your door.

Coffee was BURNT! No point taking it back, you could even smell it as it was being made. Take your money elsewhere and support a fledgling business somewhere else.

“Mm. Mm. Good.”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

Pick up a cup of coffee here and some bags of roasted beans to take home! There's one store in Piazza and one at the Radisson.
