Great pastries and bread. Good coffee and juice. It's a must for me when I go to Bujumbura. Try one of their quiche.

Love love love this cafe. Free wifi. Great coffee and pastries. Great ambiance. And reasonable prices. Service can be slow when they are busy. But all in all a lovely little place to spend an afternoon working or chilling.

Café Gourmand is my favourite destination when in Bujumbura to buy excellent bread and pastry. It's amazing that a huge investment has caused such high a steer up in the small capital of Burundi. Apparently it's the way of things go in Burundi. Excellent quality of their products and service. For Burundi it's overpriced because only the expatriates and high and mighty society of Burundi fréquence at Cafe gourmet.

Café Gourmand is just amazing, excellent bread, pastries, coffees... nice setting, good service, very nice terrace on the roof. Prices are reasonable. The internet connection is a little weak on the terrace, but otherwise just perfect!

We were only in Bujumbura for two days and we went here for lunch one day and then breakfast the day we left. Excellent food, beverages, and of course the pastries! The restaurant itself is modern and beautiful. The servers we had both had excellent English and did a great job taking care of us. The bathrooms were very nice and clean as well. Definitely recommend at least going in and getting some delicious pastries.
