Taj Mahal has amazingly friendly and "caring" service. The owner/manager makes certain to personally check that your needs are being met. The staff are equally welcoming and "at your service". The menu offers an enormous array of not just Indian, but Chinese and African (Burundian) cuisine, so it's a great place to go when with Burundian friends and colleagues who are not the adventurous type when it comes to food. Quality of food is pretty good (but I'm biaised, having lived in worked in many places in East and Southern Africa where excellent Indian food abounds), serving sizes are huge. Wear long shirts/trousers and take mosquito repellent, as the seating is outdoors (but very tastefully arranged). Will no doubt go back on my next trip to Bujumbura.
