Le Verdoyant is a classic Ouaga eatery. It quickly fills up after 8:00pm, but has quite a bit of seating. There is not indoor seating, which is not ideal when the temperatures climb or when mosquitos are buzzing. However, the restaurant does have fans and swamp coolers to keep temperatures more pleasant. I would recommend using mosquito repellent before arriving. There is no smoking and non-smoking areas either, which means that your neighboring table's billowing smoke may wonder your way!
The have nice food. They are specifically known for the handmade thin crust pizzas. The ice cream is also wonderful. They have a great assortments of flavors, and strawberry season (January - March) the Fraise Melba is particularly yummy!
