Description: The word Gaborone literally means it does not fit badly or it is not unbecoming.... Well, neither is Rhapsody's! Which is exactly why we now offer excellent food paired with beautiful wines to our local Gaborone patrons!Lovingly referred to as "Gabs", the Rhapsody's group knew it was just a matter of time before this growing City would be ready for a Rhapsody's all of it's own. Situated at the Airport Junction, Gaborone Rhapsody's is conveniently located for ease of access to visiting guests and local patrons. One of our favourite menu times is by far the Beef Espetada. This dish is definately for big appetites! 450g wet-aged cubes of rump, dusted with black pepper and coarse salt, skewered between bay leaves and then flame-grilled and served with garlic butter...Do you really need any other reason to visit Gaborone Rhapsody's?Perhaps our extensive wine list will convince you further, or our Rhapsodian Loyalty Card Program which offers our guests 5% cash back each time they enjoy a meal in our restaurant. Or perhaps, the Rhapsody's After Dark element of live jazz and blues will be the reason why you become a loyal Rhapsody's patron.Whatever your reason is. just do not miss out on Gaborone Rhapsody's

Been there 3 times of which twice we waited for our food for well over an hour and a half, the 3rd time the steak came in was so tough we could not eat most of it at all. We were being rushed because they wanted to close shortly. Must say the manageress tries to compensate with a free salad or something to "make up for the inconvenience"

They serve great meals and the service is good, very good and attentive floor manageress. The cocktail great place to chill while waiting for your meal, the menu is very extensive and good choice I found it very affordable.

It had just opened when I dined there and so things were a little odd in the way it was run but enjoyed myself nonetheless. The food wasn't anything out of this world, it's available in most restaurants in Gaborone so nothing special. Cocktails were really good though and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Having seen other positive reviews we decided to try Rhapsody's for a relatives birthday dinner.

The first impression is good with nice decor and we were shown to our table quickly. There weren't many other people there though.

I and several others in our party had steak and all of us found it to be very tough (sinewy) and bland and was only saved slightly by a reasonable sauce. Not good in a country renowned for its beef. Those who had chicken and calamari were more impressed although I didn't try them so I can't vouch for that personally.

From the initial positive impression from the staff, things took a turn for the worse as the service thereafter was slow and unenthusiastic. We were a fair size group and were left unattended for long periods to the point were we had to go and call a waiter to get drinks topped up etc. As mentioned it was not a busy night so there is no excuse. Also no extra effort was made for the person who's birthday it was in spite of us requesting it.

We eventually called (she did not come across at any point during the meal) the manageress to complain about the beef dishes. She was also disinterested until we mentioned that we would be reviewing the restaurant on tripadvisor, at which point we suddenly got offered free meal vouchers - which we declined.

I was extremely disappointed with our evening at Rhapsody's, especially at the price, and in future will rather choose one of the many other good restaurants at Airport Junction (such as the one right next door!).
