“Great Value, Tasty”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

I stopped by Par 5 last friday for quick meal on a hectic work day

The waiter remembered me from last time and was friendly.

I had a lamb main with the garlic naan.

The curry was excellent and the naan portion was more then adequate. Main meal with a drink for P83. How can you argue with that :)

They have recently upgraded the chairs, cutlery and general look. It has a basic finish but hey I am there for the food and that is definitely 8/10.

“Excellent food , lacking atmosphere”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

Situated at Gaborone Golf club - lovely setting for lunch
Excellent menu with wide variety of Indian cuisine - you can request whether you require it mild, medium or hot - but be warned hot is HOT.
Excellent starters also - you could eat from starters menu and be well satisfied.
Décor is basic, and lacks atmosphere, service can sometimes be on slow
There is outdoor seating but metal wire chairs and benches are very uncomfortable

“Very tasty Indian food”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Had dinner with some colleagues and the food was really good, probably the highlight of our trip.
From the fish starters and lamb kebabs to the hot prawn biryani and the cooling Kulfi - the food did not disappoint. There is zero ambiance, but who cares if you have good food and friends?

Service was very attentive and the owner often came to check in on us.

Will definitely be back again. My mouth is watering just thinking of it.

“Indian prawns”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

I visit this place often after golf. Excellent Indian food (have not tried the Chinese), particularly Butter Prawns Masala.

“Good Food, No Atmosphere, Horrible Furniture, Discusting Toilets”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

My title says it all really! The food is good with a wide range of food (including chinese dishes although I have never tried them). I think its a bit hit and miss depending on what you order as the 1st time i went i was dissapointed but on the last 2 visits it has been very good. The food always seems fresh and the chef is always keen to make sure you are looked after (and confirms menu choices if the order looks strange). Hidden away in the Gabs Golf Club next to the Gab Sun the dining room itself (as in the building) is very nice with high thatched ceiling and large windows - its a shame that it has been filled with cheap uncomfortable tables and chairs and a flat screen TV on the wall showing sport - this could be a very nice venue! The toilets are disgusting, stuck out the back with no soap, dryer or hot water. The floor is wet and most time I have been there has been a old cardbox box on the floor to absorb some of the water - hopefully the kitchen has better facilities! As with a lot of places in Gabs a few fairly small improvements and some (effective) advertising and it could become the 1st choice.
