There are two show-stoppers for me at restaurants in Luanda: cleanliness and service. Chez Wu excels in both categories. I've eater here around 15 times since 2008 and have never had an even slightly negative experience. Their bathrooms alone (usually a good indicator of what goes on in the kitchen in terms of hygiene) are neater than 80% of the Chinese restaurants I frequent in New York City. Wait staff are some of the nicest Angolans and Chinese you'll find in town. As for the food, it's a bit too center-of-the-road pan-Chinese for my taste, but the variety is solid and I've never been disappointed. Solid cooking, but they really could take it up a notch in terms of signature dishes or what not--especially given the rather high price point.
