We recently enjoyed an interesting evening at Boma. We were staying at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge which provided a shuttle the short distance to Boma. Upon arrival we were met by very friendly staff, had a ceremonial face painting and a garment wrapped around us. The next step was a dance and photo op with traditionally dressed folks, then off to dinner. We chose a starter of crocodile tail and guinea fowl then could partake of the buffet. The salads were nice but our greatest discovery was the marinaded, grilled warthog. It was delicious, tender and perhaps one of the best meats we have ever eaten. All the rest of the meal was very nice, right down to the desserts but the "Pumba" was the best. We could not stay for the drumming as we had travelled extensively that day and were done. I would recommend Boma to anyone in the area.
