“Interesting View of Victoria Falls”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We took a helicopter ride over the Falls which was well worth the cost as it provide spectacular views of the Falls with many rainbows visible. The Bridge offered a different perspective and we were glad we did it. You will get wet as you walk on the bridge because of the mist from the Falls. You will need to show your passports/entry Visa when you access bridge as you go from Zimbabwe to Zambia but it is an easy process.

“Bridge tour- more than what you expect”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

Bridge tour sounds pretty sedate- but wait to you experience it. The presentation of the building of the bridge is like a mini play (wont say more - you will enjoy the experience), the adventurous walk beneath the bridge on the original catwalk is fantastic- especially for those who chose not to do the bungy jump but still want a bit of excitement!.

Well worth the $55US for the 2 hour experience- including crossing the border into Zambia.

“Zambezi River Bridge - another viewing option of the falls”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

If you have time, this is worth the walk. You need to go through the check point and get a pass at immigration saying how many of you are walking out as you do actually cross onto the Zambian side half way across. This happens on your way onto the bridge and on your way back. Very easy for tourists.

The view from the bridge is excellent and both sides afford different camera opportunities. We went close to sun down so the light was just perfect. The bridge is very high up so you really do get a spectacular view.

There are hawkers out on the bridge and they will want to sell you their wares. They chat constantly telling you the history and what goes on on the bridge. It can get a little annoying especially if you wanted some peace out there. Still, they are harmless. One told us about the recent flooding and how a hippo and an elephant had been washed over the falls to their death and pointed to where they had gone over. He also told us the story of the girl who had been bungee jumping and had her rope break. When you see how high she actually was up, the fact she survived became a bigger miracle.

Do stick to the road walking out and back however as there is a side path away from traffic but you could find yourself nose to nose with a buffalo or other large animal. They roam at will. This is still a national park and you are in their world.

“Walk to the other side.....”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

whether you're on the Zambian side or the Zimbabwean side take a walk to the other side. The view from the bridge is very different and the architecture of the bridge is lovely.
