Lovely iron structure, engineered by men from Darlington, the best view is from a distance. You can also bungee jump from it!

To get to the Bridged, you have to have your passport and obtain a card from the Zimbabwean Border Post before you walk some 800 metres along the road. While it seems not to be close to the Falls, this road and the Bridge get the same constant rainfall that a walk to the Falls involves so be prepared. The view from the Bridge is worthwhile and there are photos ops well worth the visit. If you like to bungy jump, it takes place from the centre of the Bridge. Finny39

No trip to Victoria Falls is complete without a walk across the bridge. A walk on the bridge provides an excelllent view of the river and interaction with locals who operate the zipline and bungy concessions. Be prepared for a wait at immigration where you pick up your "pass" for the bridge. We arrived during the morning rush hour but were shown to the front of the line by locals who worked the concessions on the bridge. For the price of a few trinkets, we avoided a long wait and made a small contribution to the local economy. The bridge is a short walk from town but taxi's are available if you are short on time.

Visit Zambia without needing your passport (just) or having Yellow Fever injections. Be prepared to be pestered by unofficial 'guides', but worth the effort of making the walk for the views.

We were staying in Zimbabwe for a week and decided to walk over to the Zambezi River bridge because my son wanted to bungee jump off the bridge. Be prepared for a little red tape (or should I say little pieces of paper which I still to this day don't understand to get through the border). Then as you walk along you will be making new friends as your friends will desperately want you to buy something from them. We found in Zimbabwe that being friendly back actually went a long way. We complimented them on their fine craftsmanship but explained that we have backpacks and can't fit any more items in them (especially carved wooden animals). Now...back to the bridge...great views, lots of excitement with bungee jumping and a snack bar when you are hungry. Bottom line....take a walk on the bridge! :)
