The suites here are lovely (all suites). The veranda off the living room of each unit makes the place even more special. You're able to watch the animals coming and going from the watering hole. They also offer game drives on the private reserve and we saw a rhino mom and baby and so much more. They say all the Big 5 are there. We did see the Cape Buffalo as well--in fact of herd of them was there to greet us when our Odysseys group arrived at the hotel. This is a very special place. At first I thought being so far out of town might be a problem. This place is so unique and comfortable (great food, too) that I would choose to stay there again! The food is really good, too, and made with such fresh ingredients!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of an Odyssey tour. Our suite was spacious & beautiful. The accommodations, service, and available activities were spectacular. Highly recommend this property. Breakfasts were plentiful. Dinners were diverse, allowing us to experience African food (though spices were toned down to an international palate).

We had a three night stay at this well situated and tranquil lodge. The rooms and lodge were very adequately decorated and and the hospitality of the staff first class. The food was great and the sundowners at the edge of the riverbed a moment to start writing novels about. I can particularly praise the field guides on their kindness and knowledge of the bush and animals, ecology etc. you guys were the cherry on the cake, you definitely made our trip!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of an Odysseys tour. Every room is a suite and is very comfortably furnished. The best part is the private front veranda which looks out over the game reserve. We could see the animals coming across the field to drink from the pond. It was outstanding.

The food in the restaurant was quite good and the service as well. Buffet did run out of dishes on two occasions and did not replace them. That is a no-no.

Our suite had a sitting room with a sofa, chairs, desk and tv. Bedroom had chairs and a tv as well. Bathroom had a tub and separate shower. Mattress was harder than I like but others may prefer that. All in all, a wonderful stay.

We had a three night stay at this beautiful peaceful venue. Loved the suite, grounds and outlook over the waterhole where water buffalo, birds, buck, elephants, warthogs and baboons came to drink during our stay. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome...Moline was wonderful..helping out with queries, Terence and Ferdinand looked after us in the restaurant, Marriot serviced our room and Pesha drove us into town on several occasions and was always there to pick us up at the sppointed time. We did three game drives with Sikhulu whose knowledge of animals, birds snd tracks was outstanding. We saw many animals..several up close. Cannot fault the lodge for friendliness, service, helpfulness and hospitality. We loved our stay there.
